Leatherman Wave Plus — Best multi tool
Most useful multitool.
Pros: cheap for this quality, small for this count of instruments, tons of accessories and lifetime warranty.
Cons: The serrette blade is superfluous, it could be replaced with something more effective.
Gerber Center-Drive
Best bit driver tool ever. Pros: not so expensive and lightweight, 12 piece bit kit inside (Standart size bits!), also have lifetime warranty. Cons: small knife (3,25in), some customers have manufacturing defects (seller solve this problems).
Leatherman – Surge (NEW 2017)
This is my favorite multitool, but it will not suit everyone because it’s too heavy. Pros: all pros of Wave with more power. Cons: heave and big for pocker use, and also have fast to use serrete blade.
Gerber Suspension Multi-Plier
Best cheap multitool, lightweight, functional but middle quality. Pros: It’s not so easy to break as it seems. Cons: You do not much worry if the multitool broke or lost.
Leatherman Skeletool
Very useful multitool but it has not been updated yet. Pros: good quality, lightweight, one good knife with good classic and serrette blade. Cons: not removable hardware cutters (like on new Wave or Surge), inconvenient bit driver, little count of functions.
Victorinox SwissTool Spirit X
High quality tool with 27 usefull functions. Pros: little size of blade (2 3/4″ or 68 mm), best scissors for nails, paper etc. (really usefull). Cons: very oldschool design and hight cost, non-replaceable parts.
Victorinox SwissTool CS Plus
Tool for everything. Pros: 37 robust functions! Good materials, rich equipment. Cons: expensive, heavy (17.13oz), non-replaceable parts.
SOG Baton Q3
Very interesting model, good for fishing (if you don’t want to take heavy equipment). Pros: Real EDC, 13 functions, small and snug body. Cons: not so convenient to use, little size of knife, little size of every tool.
Leatherman Signal
Very popular and truly survive multi-tool.
Pros: have tools for emergencies (whistle, firestarter), successfully matched tools, lightweight.
Cons: exspensive.
#1 in our ration of best survival multi-tools.
Gerber Dime
Best mini multitool. Pros: 12 tools in one little “case”, super lightweight, low cost. Cons: not for hard work.
Leatherman Rebar
Classiс multitool with 17 tools. Pros: simple design. Cons: unfinished and uncomfortable frame. Without access to the knife with one hand.
Gerber MP600
14 tools multitool with unusual extraction of pliers. Pros: fast one-handed opening pliers with a flick of the wrist. Cons: not the most reliable multitool design.
Leatherman Super Tool 300
Oldschool, big, uncomfortable but reliable and very popular multi-tool.
LEATHERMAN MUT EOD
Multitool is primarily designed for people with weapons. Usually stored in a box with guns and rarely worn alone. For everyday life, many tools are unnecessary.
LEATHERMAN OHT
100% one-hand-operable multitool. Pros: very convenient to pull out tools. Cons: It is not very convenient to use tools, not always possible to get tools with one hand, the least shockproof Leatherman.
